Check shoes for soil. If either of the shoes in a pair have soil on them, both of the shoes must be treated.

Using a small rag, wash both shoes with Fabric Shoe Cleaner saturating the soil spots and working the soil from the shoe into the cotton.

Allow to dry.

Then dye the shoes.
